Dan Callaway

Dan Callaway currently serves as the Master Blender and Vice President of Product Development at Lofted Spirits since March 2025, and has held multiple leadership roles at The Bardstown Bourbon Company since April 2018, including Vice President of Product Development and Director of Bourbon Education. In addition, Dan is the Vice Chairman of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival Inc and previously held positions such as Vice President/Treasurer at the Louisville Academy of Music and General Manager at Decca Restaurant. Dan's earlier career includes roles as a French Horn player with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and Hollywood Concert Orchestra, as well as teaching positions at Southeastern Louisiana University and The Runnels School. Dan holds a Master’s degree in French Horn Performance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, along with additional training from prestigious music institutions.
