Katelyn Sheehan has a diverse work experience beginning in 2013 when they worked as a Book Seller at Barnes & Noble, Inc. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Freelance Animator and Graphic Designer, working with Complexly to animate a 17 episode historical series for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and creating animated logos, animated infographics, illustrated medical booklets and infographs, animated holiday GIFs, designed business cards and edible illustrations for multiple bakeries. In 2018, they worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at Executive Office of Technology Services and Security, designing and animating motion graphics videos for various clients such as the Massachusetts Attorney General, Department of Secondary and Elementary Education, Department of Public Health and more. Katelyn was also the lead animator for the Paid Family Medical Leave campaign and created posters, billboards, and motion graphics animations for the COVID-19 committee team and for the Governor Baker's COVID conferences. In 2018, they also worked as a Motion Graphic Designer at BJ's Wholesale Club, animating multiple motion graphics spots for social media and internal BJs events, and was the lead designer for large scale projects, including logos, animated spots, posters, signs and event shirts while adhering to corporate brand standards. Katelyn also created an OnBoarding booklet for new hires. In 2020, they began working as an Animator at Bare Tree Media, animating and illustrating social media promotions like GIF sticker packs and custom Twitter likes & hashtags for clients such as Star Wars (The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, The Bad Batch), Disney+ (Hocus Pocus & Disenchanted), WB's DUNE, DC's League of Super-Pets, Netflix's Glass Onion, NBA, The Matrix, Spotify, ESPN+, UFC, Nike, Twitter, Guy Fieri, Amazon, PlayStation, Megan Thee Stallion, McDonald's, Snapchat, Square Enix, Snap-On, God of War & more.

Katelyn Sheehan attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design from 2014 to 2018, studying Animation. In 2019, Sheehan attended School of Motion's Cinema4D Bootcamp, obtaining a Cinema 4D Bootcamp degree. In June 2022, Sheehan obtained a Python 3 Course certification from Codecademy.
