Kasie Brunson

Kasie Brunson has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Kasie began their career as a Journalism Intern at Oxford Press Newspaper in 2009, where they worked for three months. Later that year, they joined WKRC-TV as a Journalism Intern and gained hands-on experience in interviewing guests and managing the assignment desk for the 10 p.m. newscast.

In 2010, Kasie joined BAREFOOT as an Associate Editor - Freelancer, contributing their writing skills and managing editorial content for the online property. Kasie then transitioned to the role of Managing Editor and successfully handled social media management as well. Kasie worked at BAREFOOT until July 2014 when they took on the position of Senior Strategic Planner. In this role, they were responsible for developing strategic plans for the company. Kasie stayed at BAREFOOT for almost four years before joining Barefoot Proximity as an Associate Director, Strategic Planning in January 2018. Kasie held this role for four years before being promoted to Vice President, Strategic Planning in April 2022, showcasing their growth and expertise in the field.

Kasie Brunson attended Miami University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Journalism.
