Laurent Cousin

Laurent Cousin has extensive experience in business development and management within the human nutrition and grains sectors. Currently serving as the EMEA Human Nutrition Business Development Director at Barentz since September 2023, Laurent previously worked as a Senior Advisor at BLJ & CO, focusing on margin and risk management, distribution management, and B2B international sales and marketing. Laurent's earlier career at Roquette spanned nearly 24 years, holding various leadership roles including Head of Global Distribution and CEO for both Switzerland and Russia. Laurent began in the industry as a Grains Trader at EMC2 Cooperative and as a Grains Futures Trader at Crédit Agricole CIB. Educational qualifications include a degree in Finance from IÉSEG School of Management and a GAFTA certification in Grains Trading from Cambridge Education Group.
