Ellen Winterburn

Ellen Winterburn, SHRM - CP, serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at BarFly since June 2014, where contributions include building and leading a dynamic HR team, fostering an inclusive workplace, and overseeing significant employee growth amid challenges such as the pandemic. Prior to this role, Ellen was an instructor at Davenport University, teaching various subjects related to management and HR from December 2000 to December 2018. Ellen also held HR leadership positions at DO MORE GOOD and Mindscape at Hanon McKendry, managing HR operations for multiple agencies. Additional experience includes consulting for Anderson Keegin & Associates, serving as Director of HR at Founders Bank & Trust, and earlier roles in HR and recruitment at Materials Testing Consultants and BISSELL Homecare, Inc. Ellen holds a Master's degree in Public/Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
