Betsy Cagan

Founder & President at Bargaining Power

Betsy founded Bargaining Power Inc. in 1991 to develop the software she wished she had when she was a labor negotiator for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York and Stop & Shop in Boston. Responsible for all economic analysis in both positions, she built complex spreadsheet models, but knew only compiled software could answer all her questions. Betsy works closely with many of the customers and focuses on software development and implementation consulting. She holds a BA in English Literature from Connecticut College and an MBA from Columbia University.
