Nick Carmean

Nick Carmean is an accomplished professional in the environmental sector, currently serving as the Director of Projects - Environmental at Barge Design Solutions since May 2018, where previous roles included Project Manager and Project Biologist. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Scientist at AquAeTer, Inc. from April 2013 to May 2018, primarily focusing on biological assessments for NEPA-related projects. Nick also worked as an Aquatic Scientist at the Brazos River Authority from November 2009 to January 2013, where responsibilities included water quality monitoring within the Brazos River watershed. Educationally, Nick holds a Master of Science in Fisheries Biology from Arkansas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Biology from Ohio Northern University. Additionally, Nick led sampling efforts as the Arkansas Crew Leader for the National Rivers and Streams Assessment, contributing to a comprehensive US EPA study on river and stream health.
