Daniel van der Zee

Daniel Van Der Zee is a seasoned professional in quantitative development and asset valuation with extensive experience in the commodity and energy markets. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Baringa since March 2023, Daniel focuses on developing methodologies for stochastic valuation and designing quantitative libraries and simulation models for various power sectors. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Lacima Group as the Director of Quantitative Development, where Daniel led the creation of Lacima Analytics and the spin-off lacima Trader. Previous roles span project analysis, actuarial programming, and software engineering at reputable organizations such as AMP, GE Frankona, and Swiss Re. Daniel holds an ACAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society and earned a degree from the University of Amsterdam.
