Shamil Shah

Shamil Shah is a partner at Baringa Partners, where leadership of Data Architecture and Engineering falls under the Data Analytics and AI Capability since January 2018. Prior to this role, Shamil served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte from July 2012 to January 2018, leading proposals for data services and building relationships with key stakeholders. As a Principal Consultant at Detica Consulting Group Limited from January 2008 to July 2012, Shamil established the BI and Analytics architecture strategy for Vodafone Group, critical for standardizing capabilities across 21 local markets. Earlier experience includes serving as a Systems Analyst - Team Leader at The University of Manchester, where Shamil built a team to deliver software and design services, and at the Manchester Conference Centre and UMIST Trading Services, where earlier roles focused on systems analysis and conference management solutions. Shamil holds an MEng and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from The University of Manchester.
