Alex Schenk

Alex Schenk is an Associate Director and Senior Request for Proposal (RFP) Writer at Barings since October 2020, specializing in public fixed income strategies including global high yield bonds & loans, CLOs, investment grade fixed income, and emerging markets debt. Prior to this role, Alex gained experience at Bank of America from February 2018 to October 2020, initially as a Commercial Credit Specialist and later as a Commercial Credit Analyst focused on middle market lending in the New York Metro area. Earlier experience includes a Financial Planning Internship at First Command Financial Services in 2017. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in German from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completed in 2017.
