José Carlos Torres

José Carlos Torres serves as the Director académico for the Real Estate Investment Management Executive Program at IE Business School and the Managing Director and Country Head for Iberia at Barings. With extensive experience in the real estate sector, José Carlos has held positions such as Director at Hines, Transaction Manager at Redevco B.V., and Acquisitions Manager at Zaphir Asset Management. Prior to this, José Carlos managed the Retail Investment area at Savills Aguirre Newman and worked in trade marketing at Amena. Educational qualifications include the Oxford Real Estate Programme from Saïd Business School, a Master’s in Real Estate Management from IE Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
