Michael Domaingue

Michael Domaingue, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and fund accounting. Currently serving as Managing Director at Barings since September 2016, Michael oversees investment accounting, fund accounting, and client reporting for approximately $130 billion of private credit, real estate, and private equity investments globally. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Vice President of Financial Services at Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers from July 2006 to September 2016, managing financial reporting for nearly $45 billion in real estate and structured credit investments in the U.S. Earlier career experience includes a Senior Manager role at KPMG LLP from September 2000 to July 2006, where responsibilities encompassed audit planning, compliance analysis, and staff supervision within the real estate practice. Michael holds a Master’s of Science in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, both from the University of Hartford.
