Ernesto Hernandez

Ernesto Hernandez has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. Theirfirst job was as a Veterinary Surgeon at VETS4PETS VETERINARY GROUP LIMITED, followed by a role as Veterinary Surgeon at Companion Care. In 2006, they moved to Stone Lane Veterinary Clinic, where they held the role of Veterinary Surgeon. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at CVS Group Plc, where they held the roles of Veterinary Surgeon, Senior Veterinary Surgeon, and Clinical Director. In this role, they were responsible for managing a multisite group of veterinary clinics, developing and delivering Clinical Excellence and Personal and Professional Development Programs. In 2017, they moved to Kivet Clínicas Veterinarias, where they held the roles of Lead Vet and Clinical Business Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they joined the World Health Organization as a Member of the Topic Group Artificial Intelligence for Health: AI for Symptom Assessment. Ernesto is currently the Head Veterinarian at Barkibu.

Ernesto Hernandez completed their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 1994 and 2001. Ernesto is currently enrolled in ThePower Business School and Harvard Business School Online, where they are studying for a Master of Business Administration and various Digital Intelligence, Leading People, Project Management, Negotiation, and Business Administration courses, respectively. In 2014, Ernesto completed an Advanced Leadership Programme (ALP) at CVS UK Ltd. and a Team Leading NVQ at Farnborough College of Technology in 2009.
