Jeff King is the current CEO of Barkley. Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry. Jeff began their career as an intern at Barkley in 1991 and worked their way up to account manager and then account supervisor. In 1997, they left Barkley to join GSD&M as an account supervisor. While at GSD&M, they worked on the Texas Tourism account's iconic campaign, “Texas: It’s like a whole other country.” In 1998, they joined Fletcher Martin as Vice President. Fletcher Martin was a mid-sized agency focused on technology, restaurants, franchise organizations and multi-unit retail clients. As an account lead and head of new business, they helped position FME to be acquired by holding company MDC. It was later merged into another MDC agency. In 2000, they returned to Barkley as CEO. Under their leadership, Barkley has become one of the leading advertising and marketing agencies in the country.

Jeff King obtained a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Their field was advertising.
