Yonas Mekasha Chemeda

Yonas Mekasha Chemeda has a diverse work experience in the field of surveying and design. yonas mekasha started their career as a senior surveyor at construction design share company, where they worked on various projects such as preparing topographic maps, setting out corner points of buildings, and collating data for root survey projects. yonas mekasha then joined DGT Associates as an IO/Survey Analyst, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they gained skills in survey analysis. In 2017, Yonas joined Brennan Consulting Inc. as a Crew Party Chief and worked on projects involving robotic instruments, topographic surveys, building construction layout, and pile driving projects. yonas mekasha also played a key role in the EM-Box Plate As Built Survey at the Wynn Boston Harbor Project. Since June 2018, they have been working on the East Eagle-Mystic project as a Surveyor/Quality personnel. Yonas's most recent position is Chief Surveyor at Barletta Heavy Division, Inc., where they currently work.

Yonas Mekasha Chemeda pursued their education in the field of Surveying Technology. yonas mekasha started their academic journey in 1999 at Adama University and later continued their studies at the University of Twente. During their time at these institutions, they obtained a Diploma and a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Technology, completing their studies in 2006. Following this, Yonas pursued further education, enrolling at the Netherlands University of Twente in 2009. Here, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics, concluding their studies in 2010.
