Barnard College
Amy Veltman is currently a Trustee at Barnard College, but they have held many other positions throughout their career. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as Editorial Director for the Curiosity Group. There, they were responsible for developing and executing digital content strategy for multiple clients, including a Fortune 100 tech company. Amy also managed and edited a small team of writers.
In 2003, Amy sold a pitch for a teen musical comedy to Disney Studios and was hired to write the screenplay. Tony nominee Kristen Hanggi was attached to direct, but the project has yet to be produced.
From 1999 to 2002, Amy was a Co Producer for Actual Reality Pictures. And from 1994 to 1998, they worked as a Script Analyst and Assistant for Miramax Films.
Most recently, from October 2018 to June 2019, Amy was the Producer and Co Host for 2 Moms on The Couch.
Amy Veltman has a BA in English from Barnard College, an MFA in Filmmaking from New York University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Columbia University. Amy is currently a high school teacher at Beaverton High School.
