Ciaran Escoffery

Ciaran Escoffery is an accomplished professional in higher education administration, currently serving as Vice President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Barnard College since February 2022, after holding the position of Assistant Vice President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees. Previously, Ciaran was the Chief of Staff at The Juilliard School from December 2019 to February 2022 and served as Deputy Chief of Staff at Johns Hopkins University from September 2018 to November 2019. Ciaran's extensive experience at the University of Chicago from March 2007 to September 2018 includes roles such as Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning and Board Relations. Ciaran holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and has participated in study abroad programs at The American University of Paris and World Learning - School for International Training in Ghana, focusing on arts, culture, and international media.
