Matthew Chorney

Matthew Chorney is an experienced professional in pipeline and construction management, currently serving as the Board Member and Vice Chair of Kids Up Front Edmonton since October 2024. Matthew holds the position of General Manager for Pipeline Services at Barnard Construction, a role started in April 2023. Prior to this, Matthew was the General Manager of Mainline Projects at Nexar Projects Ltd. from April 2021 to March 2023 and spent nearly nine years as a Project Manager at Banister Pipelines Corp. Matthew's career began as a Project Engineer and Manager at Cimarron Engineering Ltd. from June 2010 to October 2012. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, completing the degree between 2006 and 2010.
