Rick Hollenbaugh has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the power and renewable energy sector. Rick started their career at PECO Energy in project management and worked there for over a decade. Rick then joined Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) as a Senior Project Manager, where they led a complex transmission line and substation project. After VELCO, Rick joined Ulteig as the Business Development and Project Management Leader, where they played a key role in developing a strategic client sales and delivery model and built a high-performing Program Management Services team. Rick also had their own consulting business, Everest Management Consultants, LLC., which focused on power and renewable management consulting. Currently, they are working at Barnard Construction as the Business Development - Solar & Storage and Power Delivery, where they lead collaborative and customized solutions for complex solar, storage, transmission, and substation projects.

Rick Hollenbaugh completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Science from Paul Smith's College from 1984 to 1985. Rick then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Science from the University of Maine, which they obtained between 1986 and 1987. Finally, they attended Eastern University from 1996 to 1997 to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, although the field of study is not specified.
