Steve Kidd has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a Project Manager at Barnard Construction, overseeing the construction of the largest above ground reservoir in the United States for the Army Corp of Engineers. Steve then relocated to Calgary, Canada in May 2023 to work on the Greenline Project, a new light rail project. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they were an Engineer II at URS Corporation, supporting infrastructure modifications and upgrades for the Aries rocket launch at Kennedy Space Center. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Project Manager at Barnard Construction, managing multiple projects across the United States, including constructing a large drinking water reservoir and refurbishing a hydroelectric plant. Earlier in their career, from 2006 to 2008, they served as a Shop Manager at Mase Engineering.
Steve Kidd attended Eastern Florida State College from 2002 to 2003. However, it is unknown what degree or field of study they pursued during this time. Subsequently, from 2003 to 2008, they studied at the University of North Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and Engineering.
