Alicja Shah

Alicja Shah has extensive experience in product management and innovation. Alicja currently works at Barnardo's as the Head of Product in the Innovation Lab, where they lead multidisciplinary teams and defines the product strategy. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Product Manager at Barnardo's, responsible for managing multiple products and incorporating user feedback into continuous improvement.

Before joining Barnardo's, Alicja worked at Jisc as a Product Lead, overseeing the discovery of new products and managing the product lifecycle. Alicja also held the position of Senior Co-Design Manager, where they delivered new products for education and research. In addition, they have experience as a Co-Design Manager, focusing on developing new products and engaging with stakeholders.

Earlier in their career, Alicja worked as a Scrum Master, providing agile coaching and support for various R&D projects. Alicja also served as a Programme Support Officer, where they managed documentation and ensured timely delivery of projects.

Prior to their work at Jisc, Alicja gained experience as an Office Assistant for Capital Programmes at Curtins. Alicja started their career as a Secretary at Curtins as well.

Alicja Shah completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language at Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu from 2000 to 2003. Alicja then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Linguistics and Pedagogy at the same university from 2003 to 2005.
