Rachell Tamo'ua has extensive experience in youth services and management, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the quality of care for at-risk youth in New Zealand. Serving as Service Manager and Acting Operations Manager at Barnardos Aotearoa from August 2018 to April 2024, Rachell led initiatives to standardize practices across North Island care services. Previous roles include Team Leader of Youth Residential Services at the Ministry of Justice, where Rachell collaborated with community professionals to address youth crime and support gaps, and Intensive Wrap Around Facilitator at the Ministry of Education, providing complex behavioral support to children. Additional management experience includes leading operations at Kauri Trust Youth Services and overseeing residential youth homes at Emerge Aotearoa. Rachell holds a Postgraduate degree in Public Health from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Auckland University of Technology.
