Richard Moore

Richard Moore has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer & Director of Business Services at Barnardo's, a position they have held since February 2017. Prior to this, they were Chairman of SoccerWorld Group from January 2011.

Richard has also held various non-executive director roles, including at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust starting in April 2015, at Momentum Partners from September 2008 to September 2018, and at South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust from 2010 to April 2012.

Earlier in their career, Richard served as the Operations & Finance Director at BBC Children in Need from 2006 to 2008 and as the Finance Director/Deputy International Director at Oxfam from 2004 to 2006.

Richard also has significant international experience, having worked as the Managing Director/CFO at SoccerWorld GmbH & UFORIA plc from 1998 to 2004.

Richard began their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Client Services Manager from 1989 to 1994. Before that, they served as the Finance Director Diesel Engines at Rolls-Royce from 1994 to 1998.

Richard Moore attended the University of Bradford from 1986 to 1989 where they earned a BSc Hons degree in business studies. Additionally, they obtained a certification of BSc ACA.
