Nuri Ongan

Nuri Ongan is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Logistics at Barnes & Noble, Inc. since November 2022, Nuri has also held significant roles including VP of Corporate Logistics at RTW RETAILWINDS and New York & Company, where successful initiatives led to substantial cost savings and operational improvements. Nuri's background includes a strong foundation in inventory management and transportation, having started a career at Eastman Kodak, where strategic contract negotiations resulted in significant cost avoidance. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Logistics & Marketing from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University, complemented by certifications from APICS and completion of Level 1 and Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. Nuri also actively contributes as a member of the Strategic Supply Chain Council at the National Retail Federation.
