Ben Roach

Ben is an experienced Scheme Actuary responsible for a range of services to various pension schemes. He also advises employers on their pension arrangements and has experience of scheme mergers, sales and purchase work, and other corporate transactions.

Since the PPF’s inception, Ben has provided expert advice to employers and trustees to help significantly reduce their PPF levy costs. He has also had considerable experience of guiding employers and trustees through the actuarial valuation process to produce a funding outcome that is satisfactory to all parties, including the Pensions Regulator.

Ben acts as Scheme Actuary to several schemes, with assets ranging from around £10 million to over £500 million, providing strategic advice, often in conjunction with their investment and covenant advisers. Ben also has considerable expertise on matters relating to accounting disclosures and PPF levy management.
