David Stoddard

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), David’s role is to lead operational implementation and focus on transformation projects within our non-client facing business areas. David plays a key role in evolving our culture of innovation, helping to shape our strategy and add value to clients and the business as a whole. David brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, working in a number of strategic leadership roles within the financial services industry. His expertise and drive have helped businesses run more efficiently, reach new markets and navigate industry changes.

A driving force behind Barnett Waddingham’s culture of innovation and robust execution, David’s decision to join was greatly influenced by our reputation for independence – always putting our people and our clients first. He is a member of the Firm’s Management Board, Finance Committee and chairs the Professional, Risk and Compliance Committee.

Prior to Baringa Partners, David held several senior leadership positions in Ernst & Young, Lloyds Banking Group’s insurance division and Accenture. These ranged from helping clients transform their businesses through to leading key business divisions in a COO role.
