Chris Mewes

Chris Mewes is a seasoned professional in business development with extensive experience in sales and market expansion across various industries. Currently serving as a Business Development Representative at Barnhart Crane & Rigging since March 2022, Chris focuses on crane and machinery moving services. Prior to this role, Chris held positions including Business Development Manager at Industrial Environmental Inc. from September 2014 to January 2022, where efforts were directed towards building a new customer base for emerging services. Chris also served as Area Sales Manager at both MPW Industrial Services and Medline Industries, the latter resulting in a tenfold increase in sales within the alternate care marketplace. Chris founded Mewes Marketing from June 2003 to June 2008, specializing in renting medical equipment to nursing homes. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with minors in Accounting and Economics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, earned between 1985 and 1990.
