Valerie Bono

Valerie Bono has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Valerie is currently the Director of Business Development at Barnhill Contracting Company, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, Valerie worked as the Marketing and Communications Leader at PROACTIVE from April 2020 to April 2022. Before that, they served as a Senior Marketing Manager at LeChase Construction from May 2018 to April 2020 and as a Senior Marketing Coordinator at Lendlease from March 2014 to May 2018. Valerie also worked as a Marketing Specialist at Danis from an unknown start date to 2014. Valerie began their career as a Graphic Designer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the Office of Human Resources, where they worked from August 2007 to July 2011.

Valerie Bono has a diverse educational background. Valerie attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they pursued a B.A. degree in Editing and Graphic Design from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Additionally, Valerie also completed a B.A. degree in English from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In terms of certifications, Valerie obtained the Effective Presentation Skills Training from Effective Presentations in March 2021. Valerie also completed the Skills for Success Leadership Training from Dale Carnegie Training in August 2019.
