Brittany Holmes

Brittany Holmes has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Brittany began their career as a Student Ambassador at York St John University, where they assisted with open days and campus tours. Brittany then had an internship as a Teaching Assistant at Brigshaw High School and Language College, where they provided support to students with their academic and personal needs. Following this, they worked as a Casual Visitor Experience Assistant at the National Railway Museum, where they helped visitors and encouraged donations. Brittany also gained experience as a Sales Assistant at Ness Clothing & Accessories, where they engaged with customers and maintained the shop's appearance. Brittany then transitioned to a role as a Marketing Executive at Aesthetic Response, where they managed social media accounts, designed corporate documents, and wrote newsletters and blog posts. Most recently, they worked as a Media Tutor at York College, where they taught students in A Level Media Studies and Vocational Creative Media Production courses. Currently, Brittany works as a Film & Media Studies Teacher at Barnsley College.

Brittany Holmes has an extensive education history. Brittany started their academic journey in 2004 at Brigshaw High School and Language College, where they studied English Language and Literature. After completing their high school education in 2011, they enrolled at York St. John University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons degree in Film and TV Production in 2014.

Building on their undergraduate studies, Brittany pursued a higher level of education at the University of Leeds from 2016 to 2018. During this time, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Writing for Performance & Publication.

Demonstrating a commitment to further developing their expertise, Brittany attended York College in 2020 to obtain a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training. This certificate likely enhanced their qualifications in the field.

Currently, Brittany is enrolled in a Ph.D. program at York St. John University, specializing in Media Production. Brittany began their doctoral studies in 2021, and it is expected to extend until 2028. This pursuit signifies their dedication to advancing knowledge and expertise in their chosen field of study.
