Nicola Thomson-Dewey has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. From 1997 to 2007, they worked at Co-op Travel as a Branch Manager. In 2007, they joined Barnsley College as a Course Leader for Travel & Tourism and held this position until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Nicola worked as a Tutorial Team Leader for Catering, Hospitality & Tourism. Nicola then took on the role of Programme Manager for Learning for Living & Work from 2010 to 2013 at Barnsley College. Nicola later became the Head of Department for Learning for Living & Work at Barnsley College in 2013 and held this position until an unspecified date. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Access to Learning for Learning for Living & Work and Foundation Learning, which they held until September 2020. Alongside their work at Barnsley College, Nicola also worked as a Senior Lifestyle Consultant at Temple Spa Ltd starting in November 2019.
