Donny Murdiyono

Donny Murdiyono is an experienced lighting professional with a strong background in visual effects and computer graphics. Currently serving as Lighting Lead at Barnstorm VFX since November 2021, Donny has honed skills in lighting and rendering for feature and television productions while developing tools to enhance lighting pipelines. Previous roles include Senior and Key Lighting Technical Director at Tangent Animation, where collaboration with the Lighting Supervisor and Art Director was key to creating timely key lighting. Notable experience at J CUBE Inc. involved digital content creation and supporting the Multiverse USD project, while at Polygon Pictures, supervision of Look Development projects and tool development for artists were crucial. Early career experiences provided a foundation in CG pipeline development, including significant contributions at Sparky Animations and Infinite Frameworks Studios. Donny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, completed in 2005.
