Magdalena Edwards

Magdalena Edwards is a seasoned contributing editor and writer at the Los Angeles Review of Books since May 2013, where Magdalena also co-created the "Around the World" section. Additionally, Magdalena has been a writer for The Millions and The Paris Review since 2011 and 2013, respectively. In their role with Row Row Row Your Boat Productions, Magdalena serves as a writer, editor, and strategic communicator for literary and academic projects. Magdalena also acts as a public speaker and literary event host for the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and has participated in various academic conferences as a panelist. Magdalena's acting career is managed by Baron Entertainment, and Magdalena has served as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles. Formerly, Magdalena was a co-ambassador for The Authors Guild's Los Angeles Chapter and president of ZOOM and EMAR Productions. Educational qualifications include a BA from Harvard University and a PhD in Comparative Literature from UCLA.
