Rod Baron has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Rod started their career as a Talent Agent at Sonjia Warren Brandon's Commercials Unlimited in 1995 and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they founded their own talent agency called Baron Entertainment, where they served as President. Rod held this role until 2007. In 2011, they joined The People Network as a Managing Member, a talent listing service, and worked there until 2016.

Rod Baron completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Work from San Diego State University, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Before that, they earned an Associate's degree in Social Work from San Diego Mesa College in 1989. Rod also attended College of Marin from 1987 to 1989, studying Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Rod'searliest education was at Terra Linda from 1984 to 1986, where they focused on Psychology.
