Jeff Riggs is a seasoned professional in the mortgage banking and real estate industries, serving as the Founding Principal and President of Essex Financial Group since 1992, where expertise lies in loan originations for institutional investors. As a Founding Principal of Baron Properties, Riggs has overseen the acquisition of over 30 multifamily projects totaling more than 5,000 units since 1997. Additionally, Riggs serves as a Partner at Essex Financial Services, overseeing a significant commercial loan servicing portfolio. With a strong background in real estate from companies such as Mountain West Industrial Properties and Western Mortgage Loan Corporation, Riggs holds an MBA in Real Estate Finance from the University of Connecticut and a BBA in Corporate Finance & Marketing from the University of Iowa.
