Tamer Assaad

Tamer Assaad is currently the Group CFO at BARQ Systems, with previous experience as the Co-Founder and CEO of Solectra. Prior to that, Tamer worked at bp for 16 years, where Tamer achieved top performance rankings for 14 years. During their time at bp, Tamer held various roles including Area Head Of Finance and Regional Planning & Performance Manager for North Africa. Tamer also has experience at EFG Hermes as an Assistant Vice President and interned at the National Crash Analysis Center. Tamer holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University and was a CFA Candidate from 2001 to 2003.
