Adam Birr

Adam Birr is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental permitting and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist at Barr Engineering Co. since April 2018 and as a Senior Project Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since April 2016, Adam has demonstrated expertise in collecting and analyzing project-specific data using GIS. Previous roles include Associate Consultant II at Natural Resource Group and Environmental Technician II at Pace Analytical, where Adam managed compliance projects and conducted data verification for EPA air quality testing. Adam's early career included significant contributions as an Environmental Program Coordinator with the United States Peace Corps and various research assistant positions at the University of Minnesota and Dovetail Partners, Inc. Adam holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources Science and Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College.
