Ann Brunton

Ann Brunton is a Water Resources Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since August 2022, specializing in civil engineering, hydraulic, and hydrologic analysis. Prior to this role, Ann served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on water quality research aimed at reducing agricultural nutrient loads and studying greenhouse gas emissions. Experience also includes positions as a Statics Preceptor at the University of Arizona, an REU participant at the Re-inventing the Nation's Urban Water Infrastructure, and internships at Stantec and the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service. Ann holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Arizona, respectively.
