Dave Dahlstrom

Dave Dahlstrom is a Senior Hydrogeologist at Barr Engineering Co. since June 2006, specializing in computer-based simulation of groundwater flow and contaminant transport, with a focus on environmental model calibration and predictive uncertainty evaluation. Previously, Dave served as a Senior Hydrogeologist and Principal Hydrogeologist at WH Planning Associates, where contributions included characterizing the hydraulic connection between the Des Moines River and an adjacent alluvial aquifer and designing two radial collector wells. Earlier experience includes positions as a Research Hydrogeologist at Indiana University, where Dave developed groundwater models to assess climate change impacts, and various hydrogeology roles at Barr Engineering Co., Morrison Knudsen, and RE/SPEC Inc. Dave holds a Master of Science in Geology from South Dakota Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Notre Dame.
