Garrett Bayrd

Garrett Bayrd is a Senior Engineering Geologist at Barr Engineering Co. since August 2020, bringing extensive expertise from previous roles at Shannon & Wilson, Inc. where Garrett worked from June 2006 to July 2020 as both an Instrumentation Specialist and an Engineering Geologist. In those positions, Garrett designed and installed geotechnical, structural, hydrological, and seismic instrumentation while providing leadership for the instrumentation group. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology with a focus on Astronomy from Whitman College (1999-2003) and a Master's degree in Geology from Idaho State University (2004-2006).
