Ruth Johnson Pe

Ruth Johnson, PE has a strong and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Ruth started their career in 1986 as an Electrical Engineer/Engineering Manager at Western Area Power Administration, where they worked until 2001. After that, they joined High Energy Inc. as a Vice President of Engineering, where they provided principal engineering duties, managed projects, and coached the technical team until 2019. In 2019, Ruth joined Barr Engineering Co. as a Senior Electrical Engineer, responsible for high voltage substation and transmission line projects, quality assurance, project management, and owners engineering for HVDC and FACTS projects. Ruth later became Vice President of the company in September 2020.

Ruth Johnson, PE, completed their bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. Ruth attended from 1982 to 1986.
