Maia Tillotson

Maia joined Barr in January of 2019 to support the day-to-day activities of the Foundation, as well as manage all of the event spaces for internal and grantee use as part of the Operations Team. Before joining, Maia was a Legal Assistant at the Office of the Attorney General in Rhode Island, and also served as the Events Manager at the Jamestown Farmers Market, an effort dedicated to providing the community with locally & sustainably grown food and access to local artists.

Maia received her Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Environmental Studies from Wheaton College where she focused on the relationship of psychological health and environmental health and published work in the Journal of American College Health. She also studied Accounting at the London School of Economics.
