Dana Nerenberg currently serves as the Oregon Director for the Center for Early Literacy Success at Stand for Children since March 2024 and is also a Barre3 Certified Instructor. Nerenberg has an extensive background in educational leadership, having held various roles at Portland Public Schools, including Senior Director of Academic Programs and Principal of Sitton Elementary School. Previous experience includes being a Principal Ambassador Fellow with the U.S. Department of Education and serving as Principal of Hyde-Addison Elementary School in the District of Columbia Public Schools. Nerenberg has imparted knowledge as an adjunct professor at both Portland State University and the University of the District of Columbia, teaching courses related to educational leadership and mathematics methods. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University, a P3 Certificate from the University of Colorado, and an Executive Masters in Leadership from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, among other degrees.
