Chris Schneider

Chris Schneider has extensive work experience in materials and technology within the outdoor living industry. Chris started their current position as the Vice President of Materials and Technology at Barrette Outdoor Living in January 2023. Prior to that, Chris served as the Director of Product Engineering and R&D at the same company from July 2015 to January 2023.

Before joining Barrette Outdoor Living, Chris worked at Railing Dynamics, Inc. starting in 2004. At Railing Dynamics, they held various roles including Director of Product Development from November 2008 to July 2015, Product Development Manager from September 2006 to November 2008, and Product Development Engineer from June 2004 to September 2006.

Chris began their career as an Engineering Co-op at DynaVox Systems, LLC in January 2001 and worked there until September 2002.

Chris Schneider attended Dallas High School from 1993 to 1999. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh from 1999 to 2004.
