Benlun Kabezya

Benlun Kabezya is a skilled mining engineer with extensive experience in underground mine planning. Currently serving as a Senior UG Mine Planning Engineer at Barrick Gold Corporation since May 2023, Benlun is responsible for developing the yearly budget plan, managing an 18-month rolling plan, and overseeing optimization projects and special initiatives. Previously, Benlun worked as an Underground Mine Planning Engineer at Kibali Underground Mine from June 2018 to September 2023, focusing on short-term planning. Benlun also held the position of Medium Term Planner at Anvil Mining Congo Sarl from November 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities included acting as a long-term planner and managing short-term operations, drilling and blasting control, and cost control. Benlun holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Mining Engineering from the Université de Lubumbashi, completed in 2017.
