Denbre McGarrell is an experienced geologist with a strong background in exploration and geochemical sampling. Currently serving as an Exploration Geologist at Barrick Gold Corporation since August 2021, Denbre has previously held positions at the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission from February 2019 to July 2021, where responsibilities included executing desk studies, conducting literature reviews, writing reports, and preparing maps. Prior to that role, Denbre worked as a geologist at RUSAL Bauxite Company of Guyana Inc. from September 2017 to February 2019. Denbre holds a Specialist Degree in Applied Geology from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, earned between 2011 and 2017.
