Dzikamai Gangaidzo

Dzikamai Gangaidzo serves as the Lead Mining Engineer for Barrick Gold Corporation since July 2024, focusing on feasibility studies. Previously, Gangaidzo held multiple roles at First Quantum Minerals from October 2012 to July 2024, including Chief Mining Engineer and Optimization Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing teams in dispatch, software development, and business improvement initiatives. Additionally, Gangaidzo worked as Optimization Superintendent and Mining Project Engineer, leading various projects and trials, and was part of the International Graduate Program, gaining comprehensive hands-on experience in mining operations. Dzikamai Gangaidzo holds an MSc in Mining Engineering from the University of Exeter and a certificate in Technology Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley.
