Jimmy Papu

Jimmy PAPU is an experienced mine geology professional with a career spanning over a decade, currently serving as the Mine Geology Superintendent at Barrick Gold Corporation since January 2019. Previous roles at Barrick include Underground Geology Manager, Acting Underground Geology Manager, and Senior Underground Production Geologist, demonstrating expertise in long-term and medium-term production planning, grade control drill hole design, and mining reconciliation. Prior experience at Randgold Resources Ltd from March 2013 to December 2018 includes positions as Senior Underground Production Geologist, Underground Geologist, and Exploration Geologist. Jimmy's early career began with training at UOB from 2007 to 2012, culminating in a Bachelor's degree in Geology from UOB/CONGO.
