Rich Maier currently serves as the Regional Safety and Fleet Manager at StateFire DC Specialties since June 2020. With a long tenure at Barrick Gold Corporation starting in November 2004, Rich holds the position of Chief of Emergency Response, where responsibilities include training and educating the mine rescue team at Barrick Cortez. Previously, Rich was the Open Pit Leadman at Barrick Gold Corporation and served as the Mine Rescue Coordinator at McEwen Mining Inc. from October 2019 to June 2020, as well as holding the title of Health and Safety Manager. Rich completed an AEMT degree in Emergency Care Attendant (EMT Ambulance) at Great Basin College between 2005 and 2008.
