Sam Bachir is an experienced professional in talent management and development, currently serving as the Head of Talent Management for Barrick Gold Corporation since March 2012, where responsibilities include leading the integrated talent management function and implementing a new HR Transformation Initiative. Prior to this role, Sam worked at RasGas, an ExxonMobil joint venture, as a Senior Advisor, focusing on People Transformation Projects and enhancing onboarding and mentoring programs. Additional experience includes serving as Regional Manager of Learning and Development at Hatch and holding various positions at Ford Motor Company, including Process Improvement Manager and Product and Sales Trainer. Sam holds an M.B.A. from the University of Wollongong and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
