Michael Walters

Michael Walters has extensive experience in various roles, with a current position as Project Engineer at Barringer Construction since September 2022. Prior to this, Michael served as a Claims Generalist Associate at Progressive Insurance from October 2016 to September 2022. Michael's experience also includes a role as Global Technical Lead at Cisco from February 2015 to October 2016, responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the Cisco Partner Annuity Initiative and facilitating internal sales team deals. Earlier positions included serving as a Coach at Next Level Academy and as Facilities and Scheduling Coordinator at Capital Area Soccer League, overseeing operations of multiple athletic facilities. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Appalachian State University, with earlier education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Sanderson.
